E-Commerce Trajectory: YETI is looking for a process-oriented E-commerce Operations Trainee to join our Austin headquarters. This is a hands-on rotational program designed to build the next generation of digital supply chain and online merchandising leaders. You will learn the exact mechanics of how premium products move from digital storefronts to the customer’s front door.
Digital Storefront & Fulfillment Scope
The e-commerce landscape requires exact coordination between digital storefronts and physical fulfillment. In this trainee program, you will bridge the gap between inventory management, digital merchandising, and customer experience. You will rotate through core operational functions to understand the complete lifecycle of an online order, ensuring our digital operations run with the same durability as our physical products.
Operational Rotations & Core Duties
- Inventory Synchronization: Monitor daily stock levels across digital platforms to prevent stockouts and overselling.
- Fulfillment Tracking: Partner with warehouse teams to audit order processing times and identify bottlenecks in the delivery pipeline.
- Catalog Management: Assist in updating product listings, pricing structures, and promotional assets on the e-commerce storefront.
- Data Reporting: Extract and compile weekly performance metrics on order volume, return rates, and shipping delays.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to resolve escalated order discrepancies.
Systems & Supply Chain Prerequisites
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Platform Familiarity: Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) or ERP systems.
- Data Proficiency: Strong capability with Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to analyze operational data.
- Process Orientation: Structured approach to problem-solving with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Base Salary Range
